The second season of the AI FilmFest has officially broken all previous records, confirming the festival’s rapid growth and international recognition within the world of AI-driven cinema.
AI FilmFest 2026 received an impressive 2,181 submissions from filmmakers, creators, artists, and storytellers from around the globe, making this the most successful edition of the festival so far.
The festival statistics speak for themselves:
- 2 festival seasons
- 2,181 total submissions
- 1,091 average submissions per season
- 1,700 submissions in the strongest season (2026)
Following the closure of submissions, the official selection process is now underway. The jury and selection committee are currently reviewing works from numerous countries, showcasing innovative approaches to storytelling, visual experimentation, and the creative use of artificial intelligence in film production.
In addition, the organizers announced the new official festival dates — May 29–30, 2026.
